This product is a kind of base for the face. It gives a "glowy" effect on the skin, that you can immediately see. You apply it after having moisturized your face, and before applying your foundation. It's really easy to apply, thanks to the brush. To have some product, you turn the "bottle" for about 5 second, and you replace it. The product will arrive directly into the brush, so you can apply it.
It's almost like an highlighter for your whole face.
I use it sometimes, when my skin is dull and it immediately changes. You can also apply it without foundation and powder. The product is white-transparent, with no shimmers in it, so you can't really see it on your face.
You don't need a lot of product for the face, so it will last you a long time.
I totally agree that it's an expensive product, but it has a really good quality (like all the YSL's products I think).
